you're forgetting that the commander headlights are flat, and the portion of your header above the grille curves back toward the windshield. you'd have a fair amount of fiberglass work to do if you wanted to raise it up and avoid removing the lower part of the header.

Yupppppp i looked at them in a parking lot and just to see if those will work and its a lotttttt more work they do not go with any body lines and a different shape.. and smaller at the bottom... i did this mod cause i like the look a lot and wanted to have a really different frontend yes they are ajustable and work great the lights are mounted really good and go nowhere i just took it a little offroading and got them all muddy and makes them look even better lol the little space where the lights dont match the lines alli have todo is some fiberglass work but thats later on i just got the jeep painted 3 weeks ageo and need the extra paint one step at a time haha
ps if people really want this done and live in NJ ill do it hahaaaa i like chopping up stuff lololol

well from 1 to 10 i do not really know lol all i know was i grabbed a dremel and went crazy lol took me sat and sun all day and monday night i put the bumper on needed to be trimmed a little i had to put the amber lights in the high beam spots cause in nj if you dont have them its one more thing to get pulled over for.. the hid beam pattren looks great way better then the h4 converson i had in my other jeep a nice cut off line and lights up a lot infront of me the headlights have a ajuster in side that says L and R i thought it was left and right and when i mounted them flush with the front of my jeep the first one was pointing to look at plains.......... then i took it back out to mess with everything and see if i could make a custom ajuster and found out that all i had todo was turn that all the way down and BAM lol pointing at the ground.. now this jeep is getting a 5" lift witch is going to make everything look WAY better lol cause right now all my friends really like the lights but to big for the jeep but when i take a jack out and put my other tires on the front and look at it its wayyyy better looking brings everything togeather i dont think XJs where ment to be stock at all haha..
Do what you want, but be careful & do what ever you want! It's yours! If I don't like something, I'll keep my mouth shut unless it's really ugly, but it's still your Jeep & I willl encourage it! Cheers Jimbo!

I think for the time, money, and effort. They look like crap. Plus should you ever want to sell it. You would be limiting your self, to possible customers. (there's a reason those older lime colored "frog green as I called them", or purple Dodge Neons had a resell value of zero)............JMO!
