Anyone here ever install a command start into an XJ? I want a command start in my jeep for this winter but i would like to install it myself to save some money but i cant seem to find any info about it on the net.

 

Do you mean Remote Start? If so, as someone who used to work for a car alarm business, you dont want to install it yourself unless you REALLY know what you are doing. Pay the extra 100 bucks and have it professionally installed, especially if you want it tied into keyless entry.

Its 60 pages of PDF format. take a look and decide from there. I opted to pay someone to have it done right. some things to think about if its not done right. Your rig not starting.... Your rig randomly starting on its own....Your rig going up in flames.
