Default Comfort / Power switch not working

I have an 88 xj. My reverse lights were not woking so I disassembled and cleaned the NSS. Reverse lights still don't work ( Bulbs Good) and now the power setting for transmission not working. Any ideas? Contact points are clean in NSS and pins are installed correctly.

As far as i know the NSS has nothing to do with the pwr/cmfrt setting .. but as far as the switch goes hardwire it to power the later models are on pwr all the time (they eliminated the switch) now for the NSS check the grounds also check/clean where it connects under the hood and apply some dielectric grease and see If that helps.

I'll check the wiring in the morning. Planning on pulling the dash apart anyway so i'll hard wire the power setting when i do that.

The grounds need to be clean bright and snug. So make shure they are all good. It will make a world If difference on the renix system.

Check the "trans" fuse in the fusebox. It supplies power to both the switch and the reverse lights.

Finally got a chance to check it out. It was the fuse. Replaced it and all is well. Thanks for the info.
