Default Combination Buzzer removal ? annoying

If I pull this Combination Buzzer thing out .. below

Will it stop buzzing when drivers door is open while running ? / key inserted / seatbelt

Most annoying thing Ive heard, drivin me nuts .. I dont forget keys & I wear a seatbelt .. would rather hear the fuel pump prime up instead .. to hear engine / door open I have to hold the light switch down (in door panel .. annoying too)

or will it screw something up ? being vacant slot

You will not get permission to remove buzzer, until you promise to buckle up all the time!

You can pull it and it will not interfere with anything other then the buzzing. I have done it in several of my other vehicles.

there is a god !!! .. buzzer gone (but stored safe, just in case i want it back in later .. really doubt that)

beautiful, quiet now .. like I said, would rather hear the motor in its full, cant count how many times i held the door switch down to listen to that

As stated you can pull it out. Just make sure to turn your headlights off... Especially on those early morning drives when it's hard to notice you left them on once it gets light out and you stop... I ran my battery down a few times after being a ******* and forgetting I had them on. Ended up putting the damn thing back in.

good point .. thanks.

on that note .. darn buzzer should acitvate when any power is getting drained, like glove box light .. mines unplugged since last jeep, bad light switch drained me a few times .. not any more

if I go into glove box at nite, the cop should have me lit up like a xmas tree .. should be able to see ok

YMMV, you might not be as much as an idiot as I am at 8 in the morning.

Is there a mod to upgrade it to a modern beeper? I'd do that in a heart beat.

With a wiring diagram and some electrical knowledge it's doable.
