Default Which Color?

Been thinking about doing the entire exterior of the XJ in bedliner. The problem is, I can't decide on a color. I wanna keep the bumpers and flares black but not sure about the rest. Please help me decide. Sand, avacado green, brown, dark grey, dark blue, forest green, light blue, tan, cream, white, light grey, yellow, bright red, brick red, or orange?

Oh yeah, it's a daily driver with a three inch lift. Just tired or scratches and chips.

Choosing from those colors, I'd have to say that dark grey and black would probably look pretty good as a 2 tone combo

You could always go with Raptor Liner, They have a tintable version you can tint with any base coat, So you can have any color you want

The bed of my Chevy Cummins was sprayed with blue tinted rhino liner a few years ago, and now it looks like crap. Faded, barely blue, more like the color of boiled meat. Most of the colored bed liners that I have seen look bad after a few years. I would go black. BTW my 2 door Cherokee has a 2 quart rustoleum semi-gloss $15 paint job, it looks good, is dirt cheap, and can be repainted in less than 1 hour. I bet most people could not tell the difference between it and a bedliner paint job, and the bedliner paint job would likely cost 20 times.

You got any pics and details of how you did it? I like the price! How long have you had it and has it held up good? Thanks for the idea.

I looked at your build yesterday. Did you use herculiner, I saw the logo on your build? Also what kind of paint was painted on top of it? Did you do it all yourself? It looks great in my opinion.

the whole rig was shot with 1 gallon herculiner, as you can see by the orange peel affect, then waited a week, then went over it with a gallon of armor-coat gloss black, the only draw back was, i had to remove all coverings and tape after the herculiner, then tape it all off again to paint. i only used maybe 1/2 the gallon of gloss black by the time i put reducer to it and i didnt add hardener, so now i still have 1/2g for touch ups, oh thanks for checkout my rigs build and the nice complements

i also have seen guy try to tint bedliner, his truck was red, but when he tinted the bedliner and applied it - the finish came out pink

The semigloss black rustoleum is a tough paint. It will last forever, and is easy to touch up. I used a foam roller, and put on 3 light coats. Dont thin the paint. Sand with 220, wash with soap and water, dry, wet the floor down, and go at it. I use the good blue masking tape. The best part is you can wheel, get light scratches, wash it, roll another light coat on it and look great again. The semigloss gives a very nice stealth look. I am lifting my jeep right now, I will try to post some pictures soon.
