Cold Start Issues
Hey, guys. Got a 94 Cherokee SE 4.0 w/136k on it. Trying to pinpoint something. On cold starts, will usually have more cranking/sputtering when starting - even after turning the ignition before engaging the starter. On two occasions, I have actually had to give it some gas for it to fully start. The more I drive, the smoother the start. Also, it has started well in neutral for me. Each time I've gotten it to start, so I'm assuming it's not the starter motor.
Battery has tested out fine. Have installed new CPS and TPS in past 4 months.
Also, another strange thing. Every time I start it and make that FIRST turn, I hear a slight grinding noise at the front left wheel. Could this be the wheel hub?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
