Default Cold start idle?

Where should my Jeep idle when its cold? Its a 94 and idles at around 1k when cold and down to around 700 when warm.

Is this too low when cold?

Hey there Brother 91 XJ owner. My Jeep idles at 1K cold and 700 warm. So, I'd say you're good. Mine has the Auto tranny. Don't know if it really makes a difference because the ECU controls idle.
