Coil Spacers?
I know tall blocks in the back is a "NO, NO!" but what about coil spacers? It seems that alot of people on here run them. What is the tallest you would go with spacers? I was thinkin about 3" spacers but didn't know if that would be too much. Anybody running them now or in the past?

coil spacers arent bad, a lot of people use them for cheap but efficient lifts. Do you have just the stock suspension right now? and i would go with 3" spacers at most, though i have heard some go with 4" i would personally only do 3".

Typically people uses spacers from 1.5" to 3" with no problems. I have 1.5" spacers and have no problems. I wouldn't go more than 3" though because it may become unstable.

i used 1" spacers with my 4.5" coil springs to make 5.5".before that i had 2.5" poly spacers on before that and they compressed down about 3/4", the 1" spacers havent compressed at all.

I'm running 3" Spacers on mine. My XJ tries to jump around, from lane to lane in traffic and for some reason, i just replaced my 2nd Track Bar.
IMHO- I wouldn't go over 2", New Coils will give you a MUCH better ride and they're really all that expensive!!!

NO SPACERS.
lol if you want 2.5" of lift go with V8 grand cherokee coils. Nice ride too. Sorry i dont mean to get on ya. Well I guess it depends on your intentions if you street ride No Worries i would get them. But if you wheel and flex a lot Like myself. Then I would not suggest it. But all things considered that is just My Humble Opinion.

I put the V8 coils on mine but got no increase in height over stock. I still put 2 inch spacers to bring it to level with the b-pack I put in the rear. The coils are a much stiffer ride. In fact I changed mine because I put a full size western plow on it. The V8 springs handle the weight of the plow....so that equals a much stiffer ride all the time. Advance Auto can get new springs for about 30 more than jy springs. I got new so I knew what I was getting. Good Luck
