coil removal

Default coil removal

starting the front lift and I cant figure out how to get the front coils out... trying not to take everything off of the axle but I cant figure out how the get the bumpstops off to be able to get the coils off..

All I had to do on mine disconnect the swaybar, trackbar, the draglink, lower control arms at the axle, and the shocks. With the frame blocked up, lower the axle, take clips off the coils springs if you have them, and just slide the springs out in front of the axle. Just did the 3" on mine.

What jeepers said,but jack up the axle,this will compress the springs.While the coils are compressed put on some spring compressors and the lower the axle with the jack.They will come right out......PS no need to remove the LCAs unless your replacing those

i was x2 yours... just get a buddy and put a little down pressure while the other one slides the coil in

Sorry I should have said or............Yep both ways would work but I didnt have any help did every thing by myself(girl friend doesnt count) lol
