Default Code 24. TPS. Suggestions.

Running they key trick,I have a code 24. My idle is low and rough after she starts up, and she kicks and misses a bit. Do I need to straight up replace the TPS (the auto parts store actually has one in stock, to everyone's surprise) or could it be a wiring issue? Ive owned this for about 3 weeks. Just changed the IAC and reworked vacuum fittings..

You can back probe the signal wire and the ground of the TPS with a multimeter. With the key on engine off maually open the throttle slowly and observe the voltage reading. Do this from full closed to full open. Report your findings back.

Currently I am unable to back probe. I tested each of the 3 ports on harness. Nothing above .09 . Nothing from the ground as far as I can tell.

safeties did the trick. TPS was shot. Replaced it. Now engine light. Idle is solid. Feels good to make something a bit better. Thanks everyone.
