Default clutch problem

I have a 92 5 speed 4.0 and when I push in the clutch it sounds like something grinding any ideas all the help would be great thanks

Grinding with out trying to get it in gear correct ,sounds like throw out bearing.

Yea! It does sound like you throw out bearing is going. I just changed out mine a few months ago on my 65 Chevy pick up and it made the same sound. Do yourself a favor. Just do a complete clutch job while you have it apart.

or It could be an actual broke/cracked disk, loose spring, or anything else in there. all in all it comes down to needing to replace the clutch. $150 in parts and a few hours in the garage if you know what you are doing.

I did a clutch kit on it a few months ago and the only part I did not replace was the throw out bearing

Thats how it works. If you dont replace something it feels left out so.....it quits. Awesome! right?
