Hi all,
I had my clutch stop working awhile back. It was left sitting for some time and it ended up that adding some brake fluid to the master cylinder got it going again. I kept an eye on it for a couple weeks and it seemed to be doing fine and the fluid in the cylinder wasn't going down any so I thought all was ok. I went on a drive out to the coast for a festival in it and made it there and back and all was great. However, the day after I got back it wasn't going into gear any more. Somewhere over that drive to the coast it used up all that clutch fluid.
I have added more fluid to the master cylinder. After pumping the pedal a bunch I was able to get the transmission to shift into gear when the engine was off but the moment it was started it wouldn't shift into gear any more.
I figured maybe it needed to be bled so I went and got a bleeder kit and did my best to bleed it. It pushed out all the existing fluid but it doesn't seem to be taking new fluid from the master cylinder so now nothing is getting pushed into the bleeder kit.
I'm not really sure what to do next. I'd rather not just chase parts that "might" be bad. Any suggestions or help appreciated!
