Clutch hydraulic line broke. Can't find.
Hello all,
I have a 1992 Cherokee Loredo 5 speed, 4.0 straight 6, that has a leak in the hydraulic line between the master and slave cylinders. I tried to get the line from the dealer, (no luck there). I have tried several auto parts suppliers and have discovered that the part has been discontinued, and no one seems to have it. I located in the San Fernado Valley, of California. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to figure out what cable he's talking about...I found a hydrolic cluth tube and hose assembly, master cylinder, but nothing about a slave cylinder or cable for that matter..
Im not sure what model the trans is...it's a five speed, 92' maybe that AX-15?
The line is plastic. The end that goes into the master cylinder just pushes in and is held in with a small roll pin. then all plastic til the other end, and that connection is a threaded coupling that then attatches to the slave cylinder coupling. if I can't find that line anywhere, is there a sub from another year?
I have seen other units that have a line thats threaded at the master cylinder end. I would have to replace master cyl/and line. And thats ok, but, I dont know if thats a valid sub.
Thank you all for any feedback.

I have replaced the entire line assembly with brake line before on the older stuff, but for you, try contacting AdvanceAdapters, as they offer a conversion kit that does away with the factory set-up, and replaces it with servicable parts. Also, try finding a 1991-1995 Wrangler, as they use a VERY similar set-up.

I'd try checking a Crown Automotive dealer or the Crown Automotive website, Crown has lots of the hard to find parts that Jeeps crave.

I just ordered this part from advanced adapters it converts the master cylinder to allow for standard brake lines to be used. They offer a flexible braided stainless line for easy hook up, but is over $50. I own a brake tubing bender so I will just use a standard 3/8 brake line and the old plastic clutch line as a model....
Oh the adapter part was like $24 including priority shipping, it was a lot cheaper buying it direct then through a 2nd party "DISCOUNT" jeep dealer.
