Default Clutch Diagnostics?

Hey, So recently my 97' cherokee (Standard Obv) stopped going into gear while it is on, however if I shut it off it will, it is a hydraulic clutch, Just looking to see if anyone had an idea if I have to replace the whole clutch bleed the clutch (Somehow) or what?

Thanks!

I would check the fluid, possibly bleed them. It's cheap to do with fresh fluids, but it sounds like you have a shift fork worn out.

Does it have fluid in the master cylinder? Mine leaks, so every once in a while the clutch stops working and I have to fill it back up and pump the pedal a few times to get it working again.
Just something simple to check out first, I've never had to actually bleed my clutch, pumping the pedal after filling it back up does the trick for me.
