Be careful if you drop the tranny/transfer case together because it is an awkward shape and uneven weight. It will have a tendency to not want to lower evenly. use a real transmission jack (not a floor jack) and go slowly.
If you've changed other clutches, you'll have no problem with this one.

I've only done one clutch in my life on a 4x4 Ranger, but from that experience I can attest that the trans/TC is oddly balanced. Definitely use a transmission jack. I was like seventeen and had to make do with a floor jack and a big sheet of wood, plus two other people helping to balance the thing. Totally doable without separating the trans/TC, though.
