Clutch 1997 xj
So I was making a three point turn in my xj when as I dropped the clutch and put it into first gear, I shot about a half foot forward and heard a snapping sound. Clutch went hard and I'd assume that is a snapped clutch cable, or a ****ed master cylinder (I'm not even sure which I have). Has anyone replaced theirs recently and have advice on how I should tackle this problem?

I just replaced my master/slave cylinder, it works great now, however mine just would not shift into any gear unless I pumped the clutch, and it would grind into reverse. Im relatively new to the whole jeep tech though.
