So when i take off down the road alls fine then the jeep just bogs down like its dying...i press the skinny pedal and its "chunky" when i drive on down the road...ive since did some research with little help. Ive checked the "so called" air mass flow sensor, there isnt one on my 2000 xj...ive tried to locate the fuel filter which ive been told by a dealership that its on the passenger side rear wheel well next to the gas tank. Not there ( searched under everywhere ) !! I was told there is 2 fuel filters and the other one is located inside the fuel tank. Also been told it is not serviceable and would have to replace the fuel pump as well...I dont mind doing that and would have no choice but to, but would rather see if there is something else causing this before i go that route. Thoughts????????

Check the fuel pressure while under a load before condemning the fuel pump. The filter is on the pump inside the tank.
