Default clunk or jerk

1997 i6 auto 4x4 when i put it in r or drive its like a clunk or i dont know the word to use if i hold the break it doesnt do it as bad is it the rear u joint or what thanks

yup, check u-joints in the rear drive shaft.
then check your control arm bushings.

Also, check your transmission mount. Mine clunked and it turned out that my tranny mount was loose.

ok ill check it how do i check the tranny mount and the u joint
