I recently had a jasper rebuilt engine put in my 2000 cherokee. Just today I was stopped waiting to take a right at an uphill intersection. When I had an opening I accelerated and turned to the right where I heard a clicking noise from what appears to be under the car. Once I let off of the throttle it stopped, and i drove home and didn't hear anything else the entire way. Also I can replicate this in my driveway.

If you can replicate this in your driveway, I would guess its the lifter ticking. Common problem with non-adjustable valve motors
