Clear or Smoked?

Thanks for the kind words! I'm running the smoked lenses now and put my stock tail lights back on but tinted them with the night shades paint. Looks better IMO. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

I vote for the tinted.
If you are going to go custom, it lets peeps know.
It shows that you are putting the extra time and effort into your Jeep.
Although, most guys who are into the Cherokees will recognize the clears as being custom, most chicks checking out your ride might not.
Again, 1 Vote for the (chick's heads turning) smoked.

depends more on the look you want.
some random photos i have of mine.
REARS (auto vent shade makes good smoked rears)

FRONT also auto vent shade... no longer on there.

I sprayed my front markers with the night shades and they tend to fade over a few months. even with good prep/3 good coats, its what ya pay for i guess.

So is sodemy in some states, but you dont see people getting charged with it left and right.. Smoked tail lights arent illegal in EVERY state, just like beadlocks arent illegal in every state. And in most places they dont care enough to pull you over for it anyways.
