if its the permadry gasket, probably no rtv sealent,might make it leak.

yea thats the one.
I ended up just using the gasket. couple other threads said not to as well and the stores around here are closed at this point anyway.

I still need to tighten the bolts they are finger tight right now. I heard they should be around 5 pounds ft but i dont have a torque wrench can I just tighten them till there snug?

everything is back togeather and running smoothly! at least for now....
