^^^HAHAHA! Just do it!
I did this after talking with Cruiser a while back, and it works! I didn't have a camera to confirm but I could just tell it was running smoother. That was only with 24oz of water too. I'm about to do it again with another 48oz here soon.
EDIT: And I did it the manly way! No spray bottle here!

Well I just joined the "real men use cups club"! I ain't skeered o nuttin!

But in all seriousness...this was an amazing trick. I can't believe how much better it idles...it's so...so...smooth! And quiet. I can't believe it. I took it around the block and am amazed by the difference. What a killer trick. Whoever *hasn't* done this needs to run out and do it.
Cruiser, have you considered adding this to your "tips" page? I'd imagine any Renix era Jeep could benefit from this treatment.
Also, couple of learning points here; make sure your doors and windows are closed. I kind of got ahead of myself and left the driver's door open. Yeah...I saw smoke/fumes in the cab. Let's just say it smells...carbon-y...

Ok Cruiser I'm back and I reclaimed my manhood. Used a mallet to put my muffle ball on because it fell off while off roading, started fire with a tactical knife and flint, chopped wood using a small axe held by one hand, practiced throwing my axe into a fallen tree like a lumberjack, and set aside a cup to do the carbon cleaning method like a real man

Agreed, let us here it!
And when you're all done with that, you'll grill up a steak, grab a beer, and smack your lady on the ***!

You SAW those results or FELT/IMAGINED them?
Ever verify those results like XJWonders did?
The only positive result was the store got your money!!!!!
The negative results were your neighbors choking on the smoke and fumes from the Seafoam incompletely burning.......

Not recommended but it worked fine. I did change the engine oil as it appeared a little murky at the conclusion of the test. I often wonder if it woulda been fine if I'd waited to inspect it the following day.
I used the green cup........
