I've got a clank at startup, have had it for almost a year now. Someone said it was a cracked exhaust manifold? It'll be cranking, about a half a revolution in then it sounds like someone hit something metal with a hammer right before it starts. Ideas?

 

Could be from a broken motor mount letting the engine lift from one side hitting the manifold onto the body.... Does it sound like a clank when you try to start a running car?
