Unfortunately based on what he said rod knock sounds like the closest, but I will go threw his diagnostic process

 

So I had a few people take a listen to the engine and tell me what they think. They all said the exhaust manifold sounds like it's trashed, which I had assumed myself, they also think that the cracked manifold is sucking air into the engine and causing the problem
