Default Chrysler 8.25 Rear Spring Perch

First off, I've searched this and a ton of other forums and honestly can't find a straight answer. Secondly, the axles are at a garage 25 miles away so can't check for myself.

I've gathered the rear spring width is 2.5" on a Chrysler 8.25 off a '93 Cherokee (going in 2001 Cherokee). I'm pretty sure it is, but can someone confirm the axle tube width is 3"? The center pin hole has been damaged so I'm going to have them replaced before I rebuild and swap them.

Thanks all.

Mopar perches right from dealer part number P4120074 (1 pair). It's what a ton of companies repackage so you can usually get them for less right from the dealership.

Why replace with OEM perches that are barely adequate for a bone-stock XJ?

Makes no sense at all.
