Maybe the chopped look isnt for everyone, but it is far from a poor jeep. a poor jeep is an 99 xj that is sittin in a drive way completely stock with NO mods at all and has never left pavement to be properly trail rated, never seen a hill, or even a puddle for that matter. thanks for the comment. =)

I just joined this forum so I am slow to reply to a thread from Feb. I like your idea regarding maintaining the rear hatch. It does have a good look to it. I chopped my Cherokee out of necessity (did not intentionally set out to do so but done because of an accident that destroyed much of the roof and the rear hatch).

I am starting to like that look. I was against it for a long time, but I now think it does look cool.

This one with the hatch moved up looks the best, & just needs a tailgate net to complete the look.
