So I’m doing a wj brake swap on my xj and I’m rebuilding the calipers. When I pressed out the pistons with compressed air I guess it got crooked in the hole and it chipped the top of the piston. Either that or it was already like that. Not sure. Am I good or do I need a new piston?it seems to be holding pressure still. Thanks!

The chip appears to not effect the seal swept area of the piston, in which case the piston is ok.

good luck!
