Child seat anchor location
I made an appointment with the local jeep dealer to have the child seat anchor installed under the TSB. This is where the drivers side was installed, is this the correct spot? It seems hard to reach because it has to wrap around the spare tire.
This picture is in the drivers rear corner of the jeep, spare tire area.

Is this bottom corner or roof corner are?
I know in my 97 post -update model, the anker points are in a somewhat different spot, namely bolted on the plastic trim along the back.

That looks like its all the way at the back corner where the back side of the spare tire would be and the back side of the fuel hose hump. If this is true then that's crazy how far away that is. I don't even think a child seat harness would reach that far. I have an 11 month old and I don't even trust my Cherokee for carrying him around bc the back seat belt loosens up and the seat position once I do strap his car seat down is at an angle I don't like. But the wife's car which is a 2001 grand Cherokee straps down perfect. I am considering going to a junk yard to find some hold downs that will be better.

Yeah that is where it is, in the far back corner sort of behind the tail lights. It is only for the rear tether, and the seats I have have a long strap with a clip for the tether that does reach. I just thought it was an awkward spot and thought it would be closer to where the cargo tie downs are.

My sons car seat is installed in the center of the back seat. I installed a new cargo hook on the floor behind the seat back by drilling through the floor, then bolting the hook down. Feels rock solid and his seat hasn't moved an inch.
