I know a few people who have used Beltech Chevy lowering (they lift on an XJ) shackles and it usually nets around 2" of lift.

i would advise against it and use a shackle made for an XJ or at least an MJ. I would skimp on suspension components.

Yeah you can use them...GM sets their leafs up opposite of how Jeep does the leafs on the XJ...Where bigger shackles for an XJ will raise us, larger on the GM will actually drop them...I know, weird eh?

As with anything pertaining to your jeep, use your own judgement, but yea they will work well and I have been using them for a very long time with no ill effect. In fact, they work extreamly well and I will keep using them. Ya know, every one has an opinion but when it comes down to it I tend to listen to the people who speak from experance and not the people who just read about it and call it fact with out ever trying it. But, I guess thats my opinion.

Her is a little more info on it.
