Default chevy 350 swap?

has any one done one? how hard is it? how much does it cost? if i get the motor and a standard transmission will it fit? and i was thinking more in the direction of fuel injection over carburatoin

youll have to change the engine mounts but otherwise people put them in wranglers all the time never personally seen one it a cherokee

yea i know ima need to change motor mounts.. im just worring about if ill have to do serious triming to the floor or firewall to make the tranny fit

i was just going to try and find a manual tranny out of a chevy truck with the motor on it r sumthin. right now im running the manual 5 speed on the 2.5 L 4 cylinder

summit racing makes the mounts you will need and i would go with a carb over fuel injected. its cheaper. you will have to custom make some headers

lol yea you see my dilema hah and my buddy just totaled his xj and i was gunna get the 4.0 out of it but then i was like if ima do it do it big!!! lol

i just want the feul injection so i dont have to worry about it on those cold mornings. i run a carburated 460 in my car and its a ***hole to start wen its cold

lots of work... Novak sells the motor mounts and everything... if you got the ax15 you can even get a 350 to ax15 adapter... youl need driveshafts also... proby have to move the crossmember.... theres alot of work involved...

can you use the stock transfer case or should i pull that out of a truck also?
