Cherokee xj 1997 Click nose under the driver seat

Hi all
I have a 1997 Cherokee xj that creating very noisy sawnd under the driver seat

I just replaced the engine and gear mounts but no result

The Cherokee is a manual stick shift

Pull the inspection cover underneath and check to see if your flexplate bolts are loose.

Wow I'm an idiot, just saw that it's a stick...

When does the sound happen? Does your XJ have a factory infinity system? IIRC the amp for the system is bolted under the driver's seat.

The noise comes every time I Chang gears 1st second and 3rd and its very nostsable I beleeve it's around the TC?
But what to check since I just replaced the mounts

Maybe one of the transmission mount bolts backed out? With the engine off and cold try rocking the engine back and forth with your arms. If something is hitting you should be able to duplicate the sound.

The problem was solved
It was from the TC mount bolts and the front axil u joint I fxed both
