Default Cherokee Stumbles after 2500rpms!

Today i was on the highway cruise set at 72mph or so. Out of nowhere the jeep starts stumbling in the rpms so i turned the cruis off and slowed down to 65 and it ran fine no problems at all never flashed the CE light. Got off the first exit and decided to take the back way home since i was only 15 miles away. Ran fine, idles fine, no misfire, no check engine light. But if i get on the gas hard once it gets to 2500rpms it just stumbles and wont go past that. As long as i stay off the gas hard and keep the shift under 2500 you wouldnt even know the jeep had an issue. Any thoughts on what it could be. Kinda sucks the CE light wont come on cause im stumped. I put it in neutral when i got home and it revved out fine to 3000rpms so it only does it when im driving. Any help will be appreciated!

Here is your list of things to do in the order to do them.
1. Pull out your 02 sensors and clean the carbon build up off the inner bb. You do this buy spraying it with brake clean shaking the heck out of it and repeating 5-6 times or until you think it is clean.
2. Tune up. wires E3 plugs cap rotor and fuel filter.
3. tps
4. cps
If that don't fix it post back up but it should. 99% of the time.

Throw it on a code reader... All the aforementioned are def possible. Especially the o2 sensors.

Would it read any codes even though it never threw the CE light at all?

I don't think so but not sure. I just listen to my Jeep it tells me all I need to know.

Sometimes a code will store in there and not trip the CEL. Happened to me.
