I have a 2001 jeep cherokee with a 4.0. I had issues on a break down on a trip, was towed into a shop , sat overnight , was able to start in am, I then drove it home about 175 miles. Was able to shut it off and start it up made trip home. Then when I got home I filled it with gas , took a drive then had it do same thing again as previous break down. Had it towed home . At this time I replaced crank sensor ( original equip) , jeep then started , ran for about 10 minutes , shut down again. Was able to restart it and it then ran for about 45 minutes. Now at this time I've replaced the fuel module, it runs a lot smoother, but after running for about twenty minutes did same thing, shut down , then after sitting for a short while restarted . Any ideas on what I might have causing this? I don't notice that it runs a lot smoother with new module.

What are the codes? Do you have access to a scanner that can capture live data?

No I don't not at the moment. That will be my next step. I had a check engine light on since I got the jeep. When I started it after replacing module the check engine light was gone. Now with a couple of stalls it's back on. When I had the problem the very first time , the shop I had it towed to check it with a scan tool and only found miss fire code.
