I was looking at buying a jeep today at a local Junk Yard, and when i was inspecting it i noticed that the Front Driver Seat, on the Left side was Worn out from getting hit all the time... My Front seat is also like this.

Just asking if anyone else out there has a worn out drivers seat, on the side where you get in and out of it at. Its like there is a little Wing on the seat that catches every time you get in.

I just lifted up the seat cover and put some poly fill from Wal-Mart in there, good as new, total cost - $3

and you don't have to remove the seat.

 

that's usually because most people leave their tilt wheel down and slide out from under it.

or short people sliding off the seat to reach the ground.

my slightly lifted tj is like that, but i'm the latter...lol.
