My 1992 4L Laredo overheated in the 106 deg heat a few weeks ago. The top radiator hose blew near the battery, so I changed it, but it kept overheating well into the red. I replaced the fan clutch and it would run fine for a week, then run into the red again. I replaced the thermostat and it's staying below the red, but with the AC on, just barely below the red. Both fans run, and it's full of 50/50 coolant and soft-water.
Is this normal in 98+ deg heat, or do I need to fix something?
Thanks,
IC

You need to fix something.
There are lots of posts and threads on this forum regarding overheating. Rather than repeat what they say here, do some reading of them yourself.
Good luck.

All of the components of the cooling system work in concert. And they are only as good as the "weakest link".
I'd consider replacing the parts that 1996sportXJ mentions.
