I picked up a set of body molding thinking that I may use in on my Briarwood restore. Has anyone had long-term success painting this or dying/staining it? It is currently brown but if I use it, I need it to be black.

 

Forever Black is about the only thing I've used on that trim that's worth a damn.

 

Not for those door moldings, but for the ones on the '97 and up XJ's, guys have used the Krylon Fusion.
I believe the Satin Black one.
If I were to try this thinking I would use the SEM Trim Black.
