cherokee rolling in park?
Ok let me start off by saying I know there is a million and one threads about this.
But I feel like my situation is unique.
Just got everything together on my 2wd to 4wd swap. aw4, 231.
Minus the front axle.
I planned on running the dead axle until I get my D30 build up a little bit.
So obviously I am not shifting it out of 2wd, so I didnt bother to connect the linkage for the tcase.
I shifted everything by hand on the tcase,
And connected the trans shifter linkage.
The car is rolling freely in park.
I would atempt to adjust my pawl, but I honestly have no idea how to.
My first question is,
-Would running no front axle have any affect on the parking pawl?
I could use the handbrake for now but eventually this is an issue that I need to address.
Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

Like stated I would make sure that your T-case is actually in two wheel drive and not in neutral. If your actually in two wheel then I would start looking at the transmission. I have never heard of "adjusting" a parking paul. Last I knew they were not adjustable. Hope someone here can explain if they are adjustable.
