Default Cherokee revs on idle!!!!

Ok guys this is weird, if I let my cherokee sit overnight and start it up in the morning everything is perfect but if i drove to work and then try to leave before it cools back down it will start up and idle at 2500 rpms. I’ve let it do that for atleast 30 seconds and it hasn’t went back down so any help will be appreciated thanks.

Check for broken or unhooked vacuum line.

I am having the same problem, very high RPM, after it warms up it settles down.
I need to locate the throttle body sensor and clean it.
I found one cracked vacuum tube.

Don't buy any more parts until you've completed the tips.

Got a multimeter?
