i have a 2000 jeep cherokee sport and idk how to fix i can open from inside of truck but not outside

 

pull the interior panel for the hatch and there should a little assembly behind the handle with a threaded rod coming out of it pull the rod and the door will open then you have to find a new sweet spot for the rod so your door will open and close

 

pulled panel off door a long time ago i no how to open door from inside but outside will not open at all

 

then adjust the threaded rod i told you about
