Cherokee Radio fuse blows EVERY FUSE

Engine: 4.0L (242 CID) I6 MPI (High Output) - 190 hp
Cherokee Radio fuse blows EVERY FUSE
My new radio i installed along with some subs and amp has been working and then it just quit working...i checked the fuse and it was blown so i went to replace it and it blew another...and another and another! What do i do? Assuming all my wiring is right bc it worked before..Pls help

Sounds like you have a wire grouding out somewhere. Check all your wiring, tracing from the radio to where it originates (where it ties in, like if you ran a new power from the battery to the amp and so forth). I had this issue on a Cougar once and eventually the whole wire from the battery to the radio caught fire.....it wasn't pretty.

what was it? i had the same problem i had a grounded out wire haha deerrr i felt stupid!

My first thought was... STOP PUTTING FUSES IN THERE!!! lol
Did you uses electrical tape on the new wires? If so, heat can loosen them up and makes them un-tape so to speak... then you have bare wires. Is this what happened?

Sorry when I replied I was in a rush..but it was my sub amp ground wire was touching the power wire..it was stupid of me not to c it but I didn't and thanks to y'all I got it
