Hey guys, I dropped my friend off at his house today and heard a sort of grinding noise when the jeep was in neutral and then it got really bad when it was in reverse. i checked and the transmission fluid was a little on the low side so i topped it off and decided to try to make the drive home (about 15 minutes on the highway).

Once got to the stoplight about 100 feet away from my house I stopped and saw smoke coming from my hood so i immediately turned the car off and checked the coolant because this happened on my last car and eclipse but it was still full so I looked under the car and there was a magazine size oil puddle under the jeep so I put it in neutral and pushed it the rest of the way home. I was dark when i got home so i couldnt see too well but ill look around more tommorrow when I wake up. i was wondering if anyone could offer any help or advice to the situation



oh yeah I have a 4.0 ho motor, ax15 transmission, np231 transfer case

u should look for a bread van (turbo Diesal bread Van) about 2G's USED BUT!!!
U can get about $500 for the shell and body at a scrap yard... Cuz all u really want is the motor, 4Bt

thATS WHAT I WOULD DO IF I BLEW MY MOTOR...(KNOCK ON WOOD) 150,000mILES AND STILL ROCKING...
