Just adjust the steering stops so they don't hit the control arms.

It's been recommended to you already, but why don't you save that $450.00 and put it towards something more useful, and do the lift yourself? I am currently waiting for next week to get my lift installed. I decided against paying my local shop $350.00 to install and let some of my buddies show me a thing or two, and heck, I'll even make new friends and get some wheeling out of it. And trust me, that $450.00 will buy you a lot of gas!

Installing the lift is not hard as long as you have the tools, just a little time consuming. You will learn alot also. I would go with a 4.5 inch lift if i were you, even if you go with the 31's. That will give you more options in the future if you decide to go with bigger tires. Besides, more clearance is better.

ya im gonna do the 4.5 and most likely 31" cooper stt's. then i wont have to trim, i think? and i could in the future add more lift or bigger tires. this will also cost less. im still not gonna install it myself. i no ill mess something up
