Cherokee Lift and Tire??
if you put on correct bumpstops you can easily fit 33s on a 4.5 kit and just trim your fenders a little depending on your local laws you might be able to leave the flares off or you could trim the stocks ones and bolt them back up
why so high for a 33 i am at 5 inches of lift with 33's dont do a 4.5 and add more on it just trim and you are good. you will have to trim to add 33's anyway so use bumpstops and trim and at 4.5 you have plenty of lift
anything larger then a 31 will need a little bit of trimming. that is just the facts cause the wheel openings are not big enough with out trimming. but it does not take as much for the 32's plus the gearing wont be as bad. you may think 33's and 32's are close in size but there is a big difference when you put them together
if you don't want to trim much do the 32 you can just trim some and still cover it with the stock fender but with the 33's you may need to lose the fenders or remount them with some screws

Guys, I'm new and reading about the same info.
a1racer, in your experience, do you think it's best to trim and keep the COG as low as possible to avoid getting too tippy? I know for sure I want to go 33s. Just can't decide right now if I want to trim, or raise as much, but just enough. I like the stock flares.
Thanks

From the little I have learned in the past week on reading about xjs. You should be fine running 31s on 3" of lift. May need to trim bumper, but that is all.
Why don't you spend the $450 for lift install on tools and do it yourself? You could buy all the tools you need for about $200 if you went nice and bought a floor jack and jack stands. Then you can spend the other $250 on a JY front DS and a SYE kit.
