cherokee lean...need help
I have a 2000 xj with a 5 1/2" rubicon lift and 33" mud terrains. After offroading it one day about two months ago i noticed it leaned to the right. I have since replace all the shocks ( One was blown) the front coil springs, an upper ball joint and the rear leaf springs(today). The front right is 1/2" lower than the left and the right rear is 1/4" lower than the left rear. The lean is pretty noticable if you were behind me in traffic and if you are driving it looking over the dash. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I should be looking for? Did I possibly bend something that I am not seeing in the front? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

yeah. It looks like the alignment is gonig to be next. I took it somewhere to get it done and thats where I found out my left upper ball joint was bad. I replaced it today. I had alot of people telling me the ride height would be from the coils or leaf springs.

hey, this may sound like just a quick fix, but if all else fails just get a 1/2" spacer and a 1/4" longer shackle....dunno if that would fix it or not, just my suggestion

XJ's have a lot of torq and what you are seeing is the torq taking it's toll on your rear right springs. I have the same problem on mine and it looks like crap.
Two Q's for you.
1. do you have any of your anti sways in place?
2. are the rear springs a new pack or AAL?
Also the issue is enhanced, but your tire pressure. 5 pounds of air pressure can make your vehicle lean to one side.

i say an alignment is your best bet, unless you did a 350 swap or something like that your jeeps torque wont sag springs like that, unless you have a REALLY cheap lift and slam it every time you take off. i would say something is out of line for your jeep to sit like that

Tire pressure could be a possibility. I haven't checked it lately, but the lean seems dramitic. I do have an anti sway style set up and have replaced the rear springs new from R.E. yesterday. I replaced the Shocks, front coils and leaf springs all from R.E in the last two weeks.

Spring sage(and yes it is possbile for a our engines to warp springs cause they have on mine) and or a bolt in your rear shackle is stuck or something is blocking it from swinging forward fully.

I am confused on how an alignment will cause any vehicle to lean. All and alignment does it point the front wheels in different directions and angles. I'll look into this, but my rear passenger spring is clearly warped so I know it is not an alignment on my rig.
