Cherokee Instrument Panel
I have in my 96 Cherokee SE the basic Speedometer and Gas Guage. Does anyone know if I can get a used instrument panel from a later model with Tack, Speedo, and basic guages to plug in the wiring harness that is now there?
Appreciate some help. Thanks.

it is just plug and play, just make sure you use one from a 92-96 cause they have an electric speedo, the early 91 and below use a cable driven one. i did the same thing worked great. you will have to change your oil pressure sensor and temp sensor to the ones that have the gauge in them and not the idiot light though. like 15 bucks at autozone.

I'm not sure, but I seem to remember someone say they plugged in but the sensors needed to be changed or else the readings would be wrong (at least on water temp and oil pressure).

Thanks for the info. I have located on on eBay for $26.00. Should finalize today. I assume everything is plug in except for the sensors. I guess I just get generic sensors for water and oil?
