So am hot on the trail of a 98 Cherokee project.
Guy says it "hit a snowberm, and deployed the airbag". He replaced all the sheet metal in front, and the rest of the car is in good shape. But the owner says it won't fire (no fuel pressure, no spark). I have not been able to tshoot the fuel pump, but I do find a fuel pump cutoff switch listed as "under the back seat, drivers side". Does this need to be replaced as part of the repair after an airbag deployment?
Could this be a simple fix for this symptom?
I don't know if it really has "no fuel, no spark" until I can get under the hood.

Oh yea, a search here says there is no "inertia" switch, but a parts search call them that. http://www.bestvalueautoparts.com/Sh...Switch&mode=PA
