Default Cherokee door removal

How would you remove a rear passenger door from a 99 sport?

Wow you are so insightful. I'll just go on out and unbolt everything and maybe all the wiring and door pins will magically fall out of place in a safe order. Thanks so much.

You gotta pull the door panel and undo all the wiring before you unbolt it. Door panel has a couple of screws then just pull it off. A putty knife or trim knife helps but mine just pulls off. There are plastic trim retention pins that may or may not break when doing so. They're easily replaced with pins from auto parts store.

When the panel is slightly off you will notice two metal poles attached to the back of the panel. There's a plastic slide lock that holds them to the panel. Do not bend the metal poles. Slide off the lock and detach the metal poles. Then just unhook the electrical wiring and the panel is off. Pull the wiring thru the boot.

Now you can unbolt the two hinges and the door check and your door is off. Word of warning in bolting the two hinges is kind of tough. Good luck.

Why are you taking it off and we could help better. Roll the window down, do what you want with the wiring and he'll come off after some un bolting
