hi im new here and this is my first post and i have had my cherokee about a week now and i wanted to get info from you guys on what are the most common problems with the cherokee because right now im having a major issue with mine so if you guys could let me know it would be most appreciated!

Floorboards rust out, hatch struts don't hold the hatch up, rear main seal,oil filter housing leaks, driver's seat breaks, doors sag and creak, CPS craps out, death wobble, etc. That's all I can think of right now, but there's many more that others will mention. thanks! do you know what would cause my jeep not to start. last night i was going to get some food the truck started up fine drove the eating establishment shut the truck off and came back out tried to start it and it wanted to but then i had no power to anything i am so lost but it will start with a jump i dont get it

hows your battery? if it starts with a jump and not on its own, i would guess a bad battery.

i just replaced the battery tuesday last week..... i tripped out because there was no power like you know how when your battery is dead your starter should make clicking noises i get none of that i think it might be a loose wire some where

One of the big no start problems is the NSS,Neutral Saftey Switch.Put it in neutral and see if it starts,that will tell you if its going bad,also if you have no back up lights.

Getting yelled at because your always working on your jeep or looking for somthing new to do to it. lol But really timing alot of people get it 180 out. CPS, I had a bad pick up in my dist whaen I got it.

shock bar pins that thump. various squeaky or rattling interior panels. wet floorboards. welcome to the world of jeep!
