Cherokee From Canada,,,,Kilometers to MPH

Hey just bought a 92 cherokee that came from Canada,,,,it passes inspection. The thing is the Speedometer is in Kilometers,,,,,,just wondering if anyone knows If I got an Instrument Panel off of one here in the states if it would read corectlly or if the gears have to be changed to compensate,,,,,any ideas???

multiply you Kilos by .6 if you have calculator or if your driving multiply it by 6 and drop the last digit

Yes it will. I have a similar problem in the 99 I have from Florida being in MPH. Do you know you and England are the only 2 countries left in the world that do MPH.
The only problem you'll have is the actual milage will be stored in the chip on the cluster.
So if you got an XJ with 100 000 KM (About 64 000 miles) and you get a cluster with 150 000 miles, I'm pretty sure you have to let your DMV know about it. Especially if you ever go to sell it.
