Default Cherokee '200i' model?

I'm looking at buying an '01 Cherokee that was a fleet vehicle of some sort. Instead of carpet is a heavy vinyl floor covering throughout and the book in the glove box says it's a "Cherokee 200i". I'm guessing the 'i' means institutional or industrial or something like that but I can't find anything online about it. The only thing sort of odd about it other than the floorcovering is that the switch cluster just in front of the shifter has a switch labeled 'ext idle' where the foglight switch would normally be but it's not mentioned anywhere in the manual.

Anybody?

Ext Idle would be an extended idle switch, which i believe raises the vehicle's idle RPMs to ~1000, giving more power to the altenator at idle for running power-draining accesories such as emergency lights (like on police vehicles) and such. Unless I'm mistaken.

Sounds like one built for police or emergency type use. The ext idle is used to keep the idle up when running extra electrical items like emergency lights and winches. Other wise they were basically the same as any other XJ out there. If the price is right, these are a good buy, as they are ussualy well maintained, low mileage, and generally unabused.

Bought our '98 XJ 12/09 at city auction. Only had 42K miles, all fluids were the right color and transparent, not cloudy, so I felt comfortable bidding on it (fingers crossed). Most fleets have good maintenance schedules.
